Volunteer drivers make it possible for individuals 60 years of age or older to connect

with their communities and travel to life sustaining medical appointments by

utilizing their own insured vehicles to provide rides.

​

We provide mileage reimbursement, supplemental auto coverage,

and provide a meal on long rides.

Volunteer Driver Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Possess a valid driver’s license.

• Access to a vehicle that is roadworthy, reliable, and suitable for rider’s needs.

• Possess current auto insurance that meets the state minimum requirements.

• Be in good physical and mental health to safely operate a motor vehicle.

• Possess the ability to interact with diverse populations, be reliable, and prompt.
