OLDER ADULT HOME MODIFICATION PROGRAM (OAHMP)
Helping older adults live safely, independently, and comfortably in their homes. This HUD-funded program provides minor home modifications to reduce fall risks, improve accessibility, and support aging in place.
Who Can Apply?

Adults 62 years and older
-
Homeowners or renters (with landlord permission)
-
Must occupy the home as a primary residence

Household income must fall within the 2025 HUD Income Limits
-
Available statewide, with the exception of Bernalillo County.

Grab bars and handrails

Wheelchair ramps

Raised or ADA-compliant toilets

Flooring repairs to prevent falls

Better lighting and GFCI outlets
